Token Terminal Partners with Firstset

Article hero image

We are excited to announce a strategic partnership between Firstset and Token Terminal.

What is the partnership about?

Together, Token Terminal and Firstset (“TT x 1S”) provide blockchain networks—both emerging and established—with a comprehensive validator solution that goes beyond traditional validation services.

By partnering with TT x 1S, a network gets access to enterprise-level validation services, institutional-grade onchain analytics, and a Wall Street distribution—-from testnet to mainnet and beyond.

Why are we doing this?

There’s two key trends that motivated the partnership. First, the proliferation of new decentralized networks, both in the form of appchains as well as high-performance application platforms. Second, institutional investors continue to enter the crypto market at an increasing pace.

The former need to establish a decentralized and differentiated, value-creating, and incentive-aligned validator set, whereas the latter need to access reliable and standardized onchain data on an ongoing basis.

To meet the needs of both parties, we created a product that helps networks with decentralization, transparency, and distribution:

  1. Decentralization. Add a value-creating node operator to the network’s validator set.
  2. Transparency. Access industry-leading onchain analytics for the network, for the benefit of all its stakeholders.
  3. Distribution. Ensure that the network and its application ecosystem is accessible to institutional investors.

How we work

We partner with networks from testnet to mainnet and beyond. Most recently, we’ve contributed to the Berachain testnet—incl. proactive node management to improve performance, emissions management, 99.99% uptime, and more—to ensure the network's reliable functioning during critical phases of the testnet.

Right now, we’re primarily focused on Cosmos, Polkadot, and EigenLayer ecosystems, but are happy to explore partnerships also outside of them.
